    i want to install driver(software X-fi) because reinstall windows and i have to install driver .but!!!!! But i lost cd cover and i dont know that need to activation key ... please tell me what can i do .....i have not activatuion key.

    in the time it took you to post this, you could have called dell and already gotten an activation key.

    lol... if that were only true. :D

    I still haven't been able to get the support zombies to give up an activation code for mine. Order support tells me to ask tech support. Tech support tells me to ask order support. Then they tell me I have to wait until I'm back in the U.S. because I have the premium warranty and they need to troubleshoot my system. :confused:

    OP: if you have any luck getting your code, GIVE ME THE CONTACT INFO! ;)

    Call Alienware 866-287-6727
    I had an issue with soundblaster (missing the cd) I called dell and went through 6 different reps and none of them were helpful at all. I called Alienware and not only did he put in an order for the cd to be shipped to me but he also updated everything on my laptop.

    I specialy registered for u :)
    U don't need soundblaster it's not driver it's software which can deliver u few options like - graphic equalizer, smart volume manager (SVM), mixer, x-fi crystalizer, 3d function, eax efects and options .. it's just software which supports realter chips :) It's not a driver remember just a help software :p
