What are ya'll doing to protect your screen from the key board when the laptop is shut. I'm already seeing some lines appearing from where the key board is rubbing the screen. Any solutions?

hmm this shouldnt really happen, i heard this with the m11x, but the m14x has rubber coating around screen to create just enough separation from the keyboard...i think.

Try to search on the forums, some users use the Razer Kabuto (mouse pad) as screen protector, other just buy a screen protector.

You're mistaken, people have already reported problems with this.

The solution is in the forum somewhere, but don't remember where. People were saying they were having a cloth custom made to fit the m14x's dimensions, i'm sure one of the people will answer back :)

I just purchased the Shaggymac screen protector for $20. It seems like it will work real nice. You could check that out to.

You could get one of those silicon keyboard covers. It'll serve as both a keyboard cover and a screen protector. You can also get a cheap piece of thin lint free cloth and cut it to fir your screen. It's not gonna be the prettiest solution, but if you're on a budget, it works.

    1. If you also want a screen protector, privacy filter, or want to make screen anti-glare (assuming your finish is glossy) -> look at a solution from Photodon, 3M, or Zagg

    2. If you also want a keyboard protector -> look at Protect Computer Products

    3. If you also want a mousepad -> you have a lot of options here, gamers tend to like Razer for example

    4. Any combination of the above.
