    Hi everyone.

I have an interesting problem that I really want to figure out:

I have Steam and Skyrim, and about 50 different mods installed on both my desktop and my m14x R2. The game runs fine on both. However, here is what is going on:

First: If I start a new game on the laptop, I can transfer it to the desktop. It will load and run just fine without any issues.
Second: I play it on the desktop for a bit, and decide I want to move into the living room with the laptop on the big tv and stereo.
ARGH!!: I take that same saved game from the desktop and I transfer it back to the laptop but when I try to load, it will silently CTD without any errors.

The game installs on both machines are exact carbon copies (same mods, similar directory setup). The only difference is the desktop is on ultra settings and the laptop is on high settings. I use Dropbox to transfer the save folder between machines. I have tried with all mods disabled and it still crashes. I don't have Hearthfire or Dawnguard. I have no conflicting mods (everything is compatible! yeehaw!)

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd love to just move between machines and my desk vs. the couch once in a while without issue, and I thought I could. :(

Update: It seems that it has to do with the Skyrim preference files... The laptop, as powerful as it is, still doesn't hold a candle to the desktop and so I can't use the same preferences for it. I can however use the laptop ones on the desktop, but I'm sure that'd just defeat the purpose.
