    Hi

    Windows 7
    i7 -630Qm @2.40 GHz
    6 GB Ram
    2GB Nvidia Geforce GT 650M

If you need more info let me know, i'm really not that texh savvy.

This computer is a nightmare. I cannot run even slightly graphically intense games. I bought shootmania this morning, and get an average 10 fps on lowest settings. War Thunder is unplayable with around the same. I just updated my drivers, but the problem has existed for months and months. The Witcher two is unplayabe at maybe 10-15 fps. I don't know what to do. If I go on "Can my pc Run".com, it says I hsould be running these games fast. I still get low fps even on starcraft two, at lowest settings. I bought this gaming computer because I love to game, but i just can't right now. Please help. Thanks.

Typical question, but it needs to be asked since you didn't mention it in your post: have you whitelisted your games to run on the Nvidia card?

I have. Just updated all the drivers today. Scanned and found a few viruses, deleted them, but performance is still not improved.

you sure your running on the Nvidia card? If you don't know how to whitelist there is a guide in my sig. Also I would check your temps. Could be your machine is overheating if you have had it for a while and not cleaned the fans.

You could try to roll back to factory settings using AlienRespawn.

    How to use AlienRespawn

Once that's done follow the guide on bigtony's signature to whitelist your games.

I've reset and still no noticeable difference. It must be a hardware problem, the third with this computer. So many problems. Unfortunately i let my warranty run out because I was tired of buying "protection" that didn't work. After two other faulty Alienware's, i'm afraid i'll have to look somewhere else. I just wanted to get my pc working before i shipped off to boot camp. i've learned my lesson though :(

What drivers are you using for the 2 video cards? Which wireless card mounts? The latest nvidia drivers may cause problems with the wifi killer, I have personally tested ... and I had to reformat

Clean out your fans. Bet your system is overheating if you have had the system for a decent period of time. The fans in these systems don't work half as we when they are jam packed with dust.

As stated above overheating could also be the cause.

Have you monitored the GPU and CPU temperatures lately? HWinfo64 works well for this.

Realistically, SC2 should even be playable on the integrated graphics on low.

Check to see if the fan is running, if not replace it. Luis's tip is a good one to try and find the problem if it is heat. I have one of these as well and performance is definitely better than what you're describing.

You can also try this, it should make it better.
