ok somebody explain this to me, im playing a mission on mirrors edge in the beginning of the game where that man was killed, and when passing the first left turn when the guards are shooting at you the game drops from 60fps to 7fps, ive tried lowering my overclock and then ran the game on stock speed and changed the phyics settings and nothing is working, the game constantly becomes unplayable at that point, any ideas?

im not sure if its throttling, i run skyrim all out in ultra with custom textures and my temps usually hit around 78 on the cpu and 70 on the gpu even with my overclock. Mirrors edge dosent get hot, i think it has to be something in the coding because it happens every time at the same exact moment.

ive also white listed the game and still no luck

    LOL!!!!

OP, can you run Mirrors Edge in mirrored mode so you can see why your processor and graphics card are doing? This can be accomplished via widgets on the desktop, but you need to be windowed to see them and allow the game to run at the same time.

i think it was a phyxs issue with the game, any time there was fog or glass flying the game nearly stopped, so i turned off the physx and im getting 60fps again
