    Hey guys

I tried to install Ubuntu. I selected to boot from the DVD from the BIOS and next thing I got was 1/3rd of the screen gray with black lines and that was all it did. So I restarted into Windows and now the screen is flickering and it won't stop.

I tried changing refresh rates - no difference

    Anyone seen anything like this?

Should I just call Dell and ask for a replacement?

    thanks

I let it sit for a bit while I attacked my car (parking brake cables.. ugh) and it seems to have gone away!

Thank God. I was freaking out

Just refresh your nvidia settings and reapply them they'll work fine
