I've got my GPU cranked up in MSI Afterburner (770 core / 1000 memory). In Skyrim it runs great, never drops below 33 FPS. The temps are hovering around 74 after 30-45 minutes of game play. Are those setting safe and maintainable? I have turbo boost off and I have the i5.

Seems ok provided 74 is max. temp. for GPU.
What is your temp. for the CPU?

74C is medium high for me, I OC my GPU to 800/1600/1080 (Core/Shader/Mem), and the temp I normally had is between 65C - 75C, not sure for Skyrim but for BF3 that was the temp I usually had on avg gameplay of 2hrs, and the framerate sit between 30 - 45. I also have a cooler on all the time.

I propped the back of my computer up and it cooled off about 7-8 degrees. After an hour of playing it's at 65c and CPU is 61c

What do you use to get it to that speed? MSI won't let me go that high.

770 works for you, and i would NOT attempt that bios if you have the ao6 until a modified ao6 is released, apparently the a06 has added code for compatibility, some games may need 750 or slightly lower, keep an eye out for artifacts
