    Hey guys,

First things first I have to say that you really have some great forums here :)

After knowing that I wanted to replace my old laptop with an Alienware, I quickly discovered those forums and followed the various sections for over a month, which finally led into the purchase of a nice m14x :)

I ordered it with a regular HDD, with the intention to separately get an SSD of my choice on my own afterwards.

I finally got the SSD shipped today and while installing it went really smooth, benchmark results are worrying me.
They seem to be far under what I've seen on other people's threads here and I would hence like to get your opinion if this is far off and what the cause could be.

So the first benchmark I performed was with Firmware 0001 and Intel RST still installed:

I then upgraded the firmware to 0002 and removed Intel RST, resulting into this benchmark:

To get another view on it I also did run AS SSD, still with 0002 and without Intel RST:

Especially the writing speeds seem way off from where they should be.
Also I'm really wondering what this "BAD" remark on the AS SSD benchmark is actually meaning.
    What do you think

Easy way: Delete all partitions on the hard disk and let Windows 7 do it.
