    Replacement LCD HD+

    I had the lcd of my M14X R2 replaced today, the previous lcd had a nice whitish glow in the background, the new LCD has an off-white rather yellowish tint to everything...could it be i need to install the intel video drivers again or is the LCD itself washed out.

    the LCD is a 1900X600 HD+

    There is talk that the panel is just not very good. I believe the gamut is only 40%, while companies like Clevo ship a full HD 75% gamut (matte) screen in their 15" notebooks. BTW I don't think there are any better panels that will fit the m14x, so we're kind of stuck as-is.

    thanx for the reply :) the panel which came with the laptop originally was better than the replacement one... and the tech who came with the replacement said tht it was not a refurbished lcd :(
