So i opened my laptop up this morning to hear 4 beeps upon startup, with no screen power, it was just off. so i searched it up to find out what it meant and it was either the ram that was screwed up or the mobo. being out of warranty, i just checked the ram to find that the second stick was dead and after removing it i can use my laptop fine, so long as i dont open up too much. anyhow, i need to find the replacement for just ONE stick of 2gb 1Rx8 PC3 - 12800S - 11 - 10 - B2 ram. that's exactly what the code is on the stick. Or, alternatively, another 2gb 1600mhz stick that would also work with the other stick i have working.

    Thanks so much in advance!

I would but I just don't feel like spending 70 bucks on a whole new set when i could probably just get that one stick for 25 bucks and be content with my machine like I was before. Thanks though.

4gb is only $40, but yea you can get cheaper stuff elsewhere. Just jump on amazon and search for ddr3 laptop ram and you should find plenty of different sets at different prices.

I'm with bigtonyman on this one, as long as they match speed/size and voltages you should be fine.
