I am planning on getting a Shammymac for the screen as well as some sort of sleeve that isn't too bulky (just something that can be slipped into my backpack, was thinking maybe like a 15" incase, I have a $50 Bestbuy card and $100 amazon card). I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for useful accessories and a sleeve that you guys would recommend?

I probably will get one, however I couldn't find a price on that and where do you buy it? I imagine its a bit out of my price range for just a mouse

That thing looks like it belongs with an Alienware.

Edit: I wanted one but it looks like they only do Europe. I guess they're the Razer equivalent over there.

well if your looking for a mouse i would get the razer orochi. Its has the same soft touch materiel on top and its wireless...

Also maybe consider getting a SSD from amazon ?

and if you get a small ssd you can put your other hard drive in your optical drive using an optical drive caddy :D

and for when you occasionally want to use a disk drive get a nice bluray external optical drive from amazon :D ( you can get a lot faster ones than whats inside the m14x and you can get one to play bluerays )

    Wireless HD box maybe ?

TV usb stick so you can watch tv on your laptop ?

External HDD for storing films and games so it doesn't slow your laptop down when you dont need the files ( WD passport AV i have and its great ! i also plug mine straight into my tv and play films from it )

    hope this helps :D

well if your looking for a mouse i would get the razer orochi. Its has the same soft touch materiel on top and its wireless...

Also maybe consider getting a SSD from amazon ? Very tempting, how much for just a minimal SSD, I can't spend like $200 on one right now..

and if you get a small ssd you can put your other hard drive in your optical drive using an optical drive caddy :D I would like to do this but I don't know how to do that or how difficult it is, but I would like to do that

and for when you occasionally want to use a disk drive get a nice bluray external optical drive from amazon :D ( you can get a lot faster ones than whats inside the m14x and you can get one to play bluerays ) How much is it for a decent external bluray optical drive?

    Wireless HD box maybe ?

TV usb stick so you can watch tv on your laptop ?

External HDD for storing films and games so it doesn't slow your laptop down when you dont need the files ( WD passport AV i have and its great ! i also plug mine straight into my tv and play films from it )
I have a very nice wireless 500gb seagate one I just got so I have that covered :)
    hope this helps :D

you'll be able to get a 60-64gb SSD for less than 200 easily. check newegg frequently for shell shocker deals.

titangod put up a tutorial for how to do the optical caddy thing..it looks pretty simple!

    bluray drive, not sure...but that's what amazon's for :D

Agreed, g9x is probably one of the best mouse out there for normal use and RTS gaming.

okay well I will look into getting a smaller ssd and then putting that in place of the harddrive and moving the harddrive to the optical....then get a optical drive...I will definitely look into it, as well as the g9x mouse

Crucial M4 64 gb would be a good one, don't know if thats enough space for me or not, but I also saw a Kingston 94GB for like $140, I'm still unsure about an SSD since they are so expensive and I would only be able to get a smaller one

Yes, it's one of those "You've got to pay in order to play" things. Costs are still a little high, but I've made the transition to SSD and keep everything on externals. Of course, I had to scrape together the $$ to get the 128GB version of Crucial's C300 SSD.

I haven't used it, but looking at the specs/reviews/price...no. If you want the cool lighting stuff I'd recommend a Razer or Roccat mouse over the Alienware.

I have this mouse and it works great! Got it for 50 bucks so even better. I guess its a remake of the G9. Love the lighting, looks great with the keyboard too.

Where do you live? I got mine for £40, which is better price than some of the razer ones. ROCCAT Kova+ Gaming Mouse - Black buy online | Currys and has had great reviews. But if you want a razer then the death adder looks great.

    Razer orochi, enough said :D

Best wireless gaming performance I think in sensitivity and can be wired just by plugging the wire back in the front

As much as I like my G9X, I've always wanted to combine a RAT mouse with the M14X since it has that futuristic feel, but all the reviews about the RAT's lifespan only being 6 months was a big turn off from actually buying one :p
