    Hi all,

I need to order an SSD asap as a friend is bringing my new M14X along with the SSD from the states back to my country very soon.

I'm going to be installing software such as Adobe master suite, proengineer, battlefield bad company 2, battlefield 3 etc.

I plan to have this one drive only for all software, games, etc. and use the stock 500GB drive as a removable storage for movies, videos, etc.

I'm thinking of a drive at least 200+GB as I'm paranoid I might run out of space and I don't mind SATA 2 (capacity over speed here for similar price).

What are some good options to consider?

    Thanks,
    Charismaztex

The intel elmcrest series are really great. Also I'm currently saving up for the samsung myself. Great all round reviews.

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG 470 Series MZ-5PA256/US 2.5" 256GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Intel and samsung both make great ssd's with trim support. I'd recommend either one. Trim is a must for an ssd. The m14x also kind of has sata 3 support, i really dont know if it takes full advantage of it though. Other good options would be checking out their standard warranties, since ssd's can sometimes be defective when you get them or later on.

For the same price you can get a SATA III SSd from Vertex or Crucial (C3 or M4).
