    When i freshly instal Win 7 on my new ssd i notice i didnt have the back up CD for SB X-Fi and to who ever didnt have it here is the part number you can call to order

    Dell P/N 0P95PK

    it does come with an activation code

    who ever need me to upload the cd so they can download it, then tell me :D

    seems like all of you have soundblaster x-fi. does it noticeably improve sound quality? i love listening to music and whatnot..

    And the real benefit is that the Realtek software will not support 2.1, the creative software DOES support 2.1!

    Yes please - I need to download the software. I am in the same situation - I bought the software, reinstalled the O/S and didn't back it up. Went to Dell website, and they don't provide a download for the software. Please send it my way.

    You guy talking about link, the link to download the SoundBlaster software the comes with the M14x? Because I also opt to get the software and it Does come when my M14x arrive, but no worries I can also upload one for you guys, just one question which is the Activation code.

    Because it will not work without one. and I cant just given out one since I have only one.

    The software i got from Dell, and its Product Number is 0P95PK Rev: A00. Yes they will usually ship to you for free.

    The activation code, I think u may have to call Dell for that. Prepare to have your service tag which is tag under you laptop, somewhere near the i7 tag or the MS's COA.

    Ok, after nearly an hour on the phone with Dell, I managed to get a key... Now when I enter the key it says "Licence has expired" :confused:

    Back to the good old Realtek :(
