    Random drops in FPS

    I have an i5-2430M, 8gb of RAM, and an nvidia 555m graphics card and a couple months ago I was able to play any game on medium to high settings without much of a problem, but lately I've been randomly dropping to around 15 fps even on the lowest settings. I've updated all of my drivers and all of that but it didn't seem to help. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
