So i wanted to instal window ultimate in my new M14x Witch is running Window home Premium.... but i dont want to lose the Creative SB X-Fi Feature i paid for... so here is my plan and can you guys see if it going to work ?

    PLAN 1
-Using ACRONIS to back up what i got right now.
    -Freshly Instal Window 7 ultimate
-Using ACRONIS to restore from back up

will i get to keep my window version if i do this ? or is it going to go back to HOME PREMIUM ?

    PLAN 2
-Using ACRONIS to CLONE my SSD to HDD
    -Fresh instal window 7 ultimate
-Copy paste all the folder from the HDD over to the SSD ?

I wouldn't recommend cloning an HDD to an SSD. A fresh install on the SSD is always better, due to alignment issues or something like that. At least that's what I've read around other places.
