Does Dell do anything to the laptop OTHER than fix it?

I just sent my m14x in for repair (the battery was faulty), and when it returned, my screen was cleaned.

Also, when idle, my laptop seems to be running about 5C cooler (the fan no longer turns on when I open Chrome AND Internet Explorer).

So was just wondering if maybe they did a thermal paste change or something too.
