I just got my M14x today. When I maximized my windows, for some reason there is a gap on the top of the screen rather than extending all the way to the border of the screen. However, if I just move my mouse cursor it can actually touch the top. Thanks.

Hmm is your resolution set to maximum? (either 1388x768 or 1600x900 depending on which screen you got)

If that doesn't work then maybe it's a row of dead pixels and you need a replacement - let's hope you don't have to because I know it feels bad ><

I am pretty sure its not a row of dead pixels because my mouse cursor can touch the edge of the screen. However, whenever I maximize it just won't extend all the way to the edge of the screen. Also, when I drag a window while holding the mouse button it'll touch but once i let go it just bounces down. It just seems like there is an invisible block that wont allow any windows to reach the edge.

OH Silly me you can see your mouse ><

Is it because you have your start bar there hidden?

I want to add that this does not happen in game. When I launched wow in full screen, it does actually touch edge to edge. Does anyone have this problem?

Nope. My start bar is not hidden. This happens bascially to anything from explorer to windows media player. When I maximize, there is just this black bar right in between the border of the top screen and the window itself. The gap is about 1cm in thickness.

here is the way to get rid of the process toaster.exe and you don't need to kill it every time your computer starts:

    Open control panel
Double click on the ‘Administrative Tools’
    Double click on the ‘Services’
Scroll down and find the ‘SoftThinks Agent Service’, double click on it. In the pop-up window, change the startup type to ‘Disabled’, and then click ‘OK’.
Restart your computer, problem solved ;).
