I want to play my xbox on my monitor and I ordered an AV to VGA cable to handle the video, and I knew I needed to convert the sound from RCA. I wanted to use my headphones, but my dumb ordered this: Amazon.com: 3.5mm Stereo Male to 2 RCA Stereo Female Cable (6 inches): Electronics so I have a male aux end instead of a female.

My question is, can I run that into my M14x R2 like I would a mic and then just use the speakers on my laptop?
