Hope someone can help. I was getting terrible performance from the stock card so I ordered the killer 1103 which I installed today I then downloaded the driver from Dell site. Everything worked great for about 1/2 hour then I got repeated BSOD. I did a system restore and everything was fine tried the driver from bigfoot same repeated BSOD with the additional effect of my nvidia gpu dissapearing, wont even show in device manager and no nvidia control panel. Any ideas whats going on? Any help greatly appreciated

I'd say the card is faulty.

I've had the same identical thing happen to me. Ended up restoring the alienware to factory settings, still no Nvidea card showing. Got upset powered it down and left for a day thinking I might have to send the whole thing back, powered it back on and voila the card is back. Weird stuff.

I had and still have massive problems with the Killer card too...changing card hasn't solved the problem so I'm "downgrading" to Intel 6300 (I changed drivers, used new ones, old ones, generic Atheros ones, changed router settings more than once, tested it on other networks and still it has issues.(disconnects, bad range and no gaming capabilities)

With the Nvidia Card disappering: Make sure you are plugged in!!!
When not plugged in the M14x enters so called Stealth mode and powers down the GT555M. When it happened to me I kinda freaked out (I was slightly OCing in BF3...nothing extreme as I was using 750/1500/1080)
