    Hey

Had a few issues with my m14x and it needed a motherboard replacement and had to reinstall all drivers and os etc after technician called.
My question what fps should i be expecting on a game like portal 2?
Because i have been looking around and people are saying between 60 -80 to 100 fps while mine keeps dropping below 55 50ish.. Its the same with half life 2 the only two games i have installed right now .

Im playing on a monitor but I dropped back the resolution to 1368 x 768 have aa at 4 and shaders only at high . Should the m14x be able to max out a game like portal 2 which ive heard runs very well?any tips solutions?

For me, most Valve game start from HL1 to CS to Portal 1 except for Portal 2 and TF2, run at between 100 - 180 (V-Sync Off, max setting and resolution - 900p), and as for Portal 2, I use the recommend setting from the game, the average fps I got is between 60 - 80, and for some reason TF2 sometime I got like 10 - 25, sometime I got somewhere similar to Portal 2. I think the reason your fps is low is because of the monitor because I play all of my game on the native monitor except for sometime Skyrim and BF3.

I play at max with AA off at 900p and I get like 150fps. Did you whitelist the game?

Whitelisting steam doesnt always work. You need to go in and do each exe file individually

For those 3D mark benchmark program, for some reason it is will always auto select your primary display as the default card which mean the Intel integrate graphic will be use during the benchmark because it is the primary, so expect a fault score if you think it is the GT555M that it is testing.
