    Hi there,

I have the m14x with the i7 2670qm, 6gb ram and the 1gb GT555m... I can play the latest battlefield on high without any problems, still Diablo III seems to take a lot of performance. It doesn't run really smoothly even with some settings on medium.
The graphics aren't that great so I wonder if anyone else experiences that.

I know it's a beta, but significant changes on the engine are quite unprobable I guess?

that's not nice at all :(( but someone else posted before that they were having good results with the beta. Try whitelisting the app because it may be using the integrated card because of driver updates or whatever. Change settings from the nvidia control pannel like AA AF and AO. set performance to max etc. and report back ASAP!!

Will try once the servers are up again :)

    Edit:

Just to clarify. It runs smoothly, of course. I still experience some hang-ups when there are large groups of mobs. Which really bothers me, since it ruins the gameplay.
I don't want to imagine what this lag can cause in Inferno :(

Don't put too much faith in betas, they're a beta and not final for a reason.

It was like this when I first started Beta. This was due to the fact that I was playing the game while I was still downloading the client. As you may know, you can begin playing the game while the game is still being downloaded.

After the game was 100% done. I was no longer streaming. and with vertical sync off, I reached over 100 fps in non-combat areas. so make sure you've fully downloaded the client before you start playing.

i run the beta with the latest nvidia driver 296.10 and it runs smooth on high settings with 900p No AA and Low FX Settings.

Before i had the 269 Driver from the Dell website and i had the same issue as you,
    try it out ; )

But still its a Beta and i think the Retail version willl run better than the Beta.
