    This thread is focused on discussing overclocking the GPU in the M14x.

    List your results and system specs if you have overclocked, as well as what you overclocked.

    --------

    Specs: 2630qm, 1600x900, 4gb ram, 750 hd, 1.5g GPU

    benchmark used: 3dmark11 free version

    --------

    stock settings score: 1322

    --------

    overclocked using MSI afterburner:
    core: 590 -> 700
    memory: 900 -> 900 (didn't overclock memory as someone told me it doesn't help performance much relative to extra heat)

    score: 1520

    -------

    comments: I'm overclocking to 700 since I'm happy with the boost. I overclocked to 740 core and 945 memory and got 1619 3dmark11 score.
