Just received my M14x together with the 17" Orion backpack. (Like 2 hours ago lol)

Trust me. Get the 17" if you are getting the backpack. Definitely you are going to put your other accessories (books, adapters, external speakers blah)

It doubles up as a sturdy protect for your alien and extremely spacious area for you to keep the stuff. I mean c'mon the 17" backpack is able to slot in 2 m17x r1s. SICKKK!!

Get the bigger backpack. I have a 17" Swiss Army one and I love the size of it. I think the extra cushion is good.

I did get the 14" backpack (but didnt realize that I could haveordered the larger one). I am going to probably stick with it - it definitely wont hold as much, but I want to try and carry the minimum - the laptop, the cord, a mouse, headphones. There is still a separate compartment for papers and files so really it should suffice.

If I was still in college, a bigger backpack would be better - but even then, why are you lugging a M14x to class? get a used dell mini 10v from the dell outlet and take that instead.

I'll be grabbing the 17" Orion bag as well. Fitting 2-3 college books everywhere I go is always a plus ;)
