Hi everyone. Think I'm grasping at straws here but I'll ask cos I'm freaking out.

Iv just spilt orange juice on my m14x. Turned it upside down strait away and wiped it all off but to no avail.

When I turn it on it just has a black screen with 7 quick beeps that repeat themselves. Iv read its either processor or motherboard? Is there any way to fix this or is it a definite processor/motherboard replacement? And I'm guessing that would cost me about the £500 mark?

Should I just get another laptop.

    Cheers everyone

If you have CompleteCover, and it's still valid, call up Alienware immediately to have it repaired.

Otherwise, you're looking at an out-of-warranty-repair and that's usually going to be hefty.

We might be able to offer you some options to fix this but it's probably a part replacement what is needed. Please send us an e-mail to [email protected] with your tag, phone and a brief description of the issue and I'll get you help ASAP.
