Not sure if this is a "touchy" subject but with the new Macbook pros being released with 650Ms and Ivy Bridge, how hard would it be to run OsX on an R2? It's been a curiosity for some time and I've wanted to run it on something but never had anything with a close enough hardware config to try.

    Any opinions?

try creating a new partition and see what happens, it may fail but its worth a shot if you know what youre doing

For possibility? Well technically it is possible on all computer that can run Vista or 7 even those with XP also possible but with older version, it's not that hard, but the problem with OSX is that it is not really Legal to install Mac on a non-Apple machine, I dont want to mention the name of that version as I'm also not too sure if it is allow to openly discuss in NBR, but I'm sure you'd find more info on the internet.

Its been mentioned before, I'm sure it will be mentioned again. For Dev purposes, the best option is usually a Virtual Machine (like I run). Especially with the new configuration with the Cache SSD, you may run into troubles running/installing OSX. The old M14x was simpler from a boot perspective, so some people preferred that for OSX

As some of the guys mention you can give it a try creating a new partition or running a virtual machine with the OsX. It might work fine. :)
