Disregard. The rating is now what I expect it to be:

    Hi,
I'm new to SSD's so this is why I'm posting the thread. I've recently bought an OCZ Vertex 2E 240GB SSD, replaced it with my current HDD in the M14x and have reinstalled the O/S all minus the Intel Rapid Storage driver as I've heard that can cause drastic slowdowns or freezes with SSD. I did a rating on the Windows Experience Index and the hard drive astonishingly receives 5.9 just like the previous one I had. I thought SSD was supposed to get a better WEI than the conventional HDD?

I've ran HDDTune and I believe these are results similar to most common SSD's, except perhaps for the brief bit at the beginning of the benchmark.
