I'm trying to update to the latest drivers found here: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
My card is using driver version 267.21, and the downloaded file/program is supposed to update to version 270.61. However, the updater says it can't find a compatible graphics card and quits instead of updating. This Optimus thing is pretty cool, except when it makes me unable to play games or update my graphics card.
Any suggestions on how to get the latest drivers?
EDIT: It turns out that updated drivers for the graphics card have to come from Dell/Alienware. I feel that it's going to be like waiting for Motorola to update to the next version of Android that was released 6 months ago.

So that's why it wasn't working... Useless.

Why don't you just download the NVIDIA 275 beta driver ? there are step by step instructions on this forum. works great.

There are instructions on this forum for upgrading to both the beta driver mentioned by NerdsAreMyBrethren, and also for installing the 270.61 drivers.
