So you are using the m18x as a display? I don't get what fun about that?

Connecting the M14x to the M18x's HDMI in? What's so fun about that?

    I connected my M14x to a 40" TV, now that's fun.

But I really don't see the big deal, HDMI out is commonplace and available on any notebook now.

When you sync Alienware FX colors and both laptop playing same music output , I'll upload the video and photos when I'm free , still trying to sync with m11x but non of those cable working.

I actually find the Alienware music plugin to be extremely ... ugh, very irritating. If it had options, like for allowing to be set to one color and to flash to beats in a more clear manner (e.g. left side of keyboard for 0~200Hz, right for 2000~22k etc.) instead of just appearing to randomly flash lights in a seizure-inducing manner, it'd be better.

But what you're suggesting sounds like a ridiculously stroby lightshow.

That's for iTunes. I don't find that control panel anywhere for Windows Media Player. And I am not installing that crappy bloatware iTunes on my M14x when I already have the devices syncing to my desktop. I'd rather stay away from iTunes if I don't need it.

Is it available for WMP's AlienFX then? I wouldn't install iTunes just to make my M14x flash like a strobe.

That's pretty cool. Been fiddling around with it on my M14x.

That's not it. That only turns on the AlienFX visualization which I can't stand to watch for longer than half a minute. I found the proper configurator under the Tools > Options > Plugins/Visualizations/AlienFX >> Properties button.

I didn't understand. I thought you couldn't start alienfx at all.
