    Dear Friends,

I have installed new HDD with Linux (fedora 17 64bit).
I am also using pyAlienFX (It provides some control over alienware keyboard lights). Now I am not able to use webcam and microphone. There is not hardware.
So I was worried and re inserted it's Widows HDD and still no webcam and microphone. So I re-flashed my bios to A5 and bingo it started working again... and when I popped in linux drive again it's gone..
    so I upgraded to A8 → A5 → A8 on windows...

Do let me know if this behavior is know for M14X.

The Mic and Cam need to be activated via OSD. (Function Keys) If you can't use that with Linux then you won't be able to use them.

    Thank you,
Could you specify which function key combination is used to activate cam & mic.
I would like to inform that in fedora, I am able to activate trackpad, volume, mute but can't On/ Off keyboard lights.
