Your subwoofer might be blown or something, because since I receive the laptop, I've replace 3 subwoofer because of careless usage. You might want to call Dell if thing doesnt get fixed, to ask them to replace the subwoofer for you.

I would guess careless usage = playing songs on the highest volume with the bass on highest .... not highest in particular but really high .... It happened to the speakers on my car many times over the years but those were really low quality ones... however, to think that would happen to alienwares' speakers, very disappointing .... Good luck man ...

hey ... on the bright side ... i heard the quality of the sound is really good ... I didn't get my m14x yet .... but you might consider checking if it is faulty subwoofer or not ... could be the drivers or or or .... did they just stop working one day ... ? Or were you just aware of the problem ... ?

Yes, correct, the first 2 subwoofer, I was messing around with the Creative SoundBlaster software and tune the bass volume too much so when I play the song and I forgot to turn down the volume and it just goes pop then no more bass sound coming from the subwoofer, and the third time, when I try to clean some stuff up, and accidentally break the subwoofer, but fortunately I have the accidental warranty thing, and it does cover as long as you dont tell them what is really happen

But overall, the speaker and the subwoofer does a really good job, just because of my careless usage/handling or because of my curiosity to mess around with the SoundBlaster software, else I would have never have to call Dell 3 times to replace it.

try reinstalling the Realtek audio driver from Dell's website, it's probably not the case, but it's always good to double check before going through the hassle of sending it in

I tried that. It's blown for sure. I am pretty annoyed right now. If i send it into them am i going to have to take out my SSD? Isn't it covered with a 1 year warranty. I've only had it for a 5 months.

I love how on their site they make it easy to buy one but damn hard to find any aftersales help

It would be covered by regular warranty, as its not your fault it just went out. And no, they shouldnt have to take ANYTHING out to replace the subwoofer. If you open up your system and see, its just on its own sitting in front; nothing else has to be taken out to get to it.
