I just ordered a new Alienware M14X R2 with the following specs:

    CPU:i7-4700MQ
    Video:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M
    Ram:16GB Dual Channel DDR3L
    ODD:Slot-Loading 8x SuperMulti Drive
    Hard Drive:MSATA 256GB
    Hard Drive:1TB 5400rpm
    Screen:14.0 inch WLED FHD (1920 x 1080)
    OS:Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Are there currently any problems with my setup. I have read about battery charging while 100% and causing battery wear. I haven't heard much else besides the single fan on the M14X. I ordered a 160mm laptop cooler so that should help with temps. Any tips or potential problems please point them out for me. Thank you.

Nothing wrong with the laptop, might get a little hot if not ventilated correctly and/or cleaned now and then from the dust. Though I don't understand why you just ordered this laptop.

The i7-4710MQ Hasswell refresh cpu is about to release. The 800 series graphics cards have just released. Why haven't you waited for a new version/ another brand laptop that has these new hardware. Instead of overpaying for a laptop that has 1 year old hardware? I have to admit though they are late with a new alienware 14 updated model. That's the reason why I gave up on getting one. But yeah, i'd say cancel order if still possible, unless you REALLY WANT IT VERY BAD RIGHT NOW.

It's a good spec - you shouldn't have any problems with it providing that you look after it!
Although you have ordered the Alienware 14 not the M14x R2. If anything the 14 is an R3!
