I've just found out today about HP's new Envy 14 Spectre, which sports a 14.0 inch 1600x900 "Radiance" display. I guess this'll mostly be a rhetorical question for now, but how likely would it be that the LCD panel on the Envy 14 is compatible with the M14x? As far as I know the M14x's screen uses a "slim-line" LCD panel with a dual-channel LVDS cable, and I only know of one that fits these conditions. I can't speak for the LVDS cable, but the display case on the Envy 14 looks pretty slim, and the panel itself sits under a sheet of glass - could it be that the Radiance display is one of the slim-line LCDs I've been looking around for?
