"asking price of S$3284.24. However, if you are looking for something a little cheaper, the base config can be had for as low as S$2299."

What are they talking about? You can get one much cheaper then this.

Then you guys are getting ripped off big time on the m14x (I don't know the conversion rate, I merely assumed the base prices would be equivalent)!

No, AW pushed its prices way down lately. The base config costs 1199€ in Belgium. Eventhough the Euro is worth way more than the Dollar, In Europe we can call ourselves lucky if the prices are the same in Euro as they are in Dollar (for example: if a machine costs 1200 dollars, it will usually cost 1400-1500€, but the difference is a lot less than it used to be).

If you go onto the Dell SG website, it seems the base config is not as basic as the one by Dell US. Comes with Bluetooth, wifi 6205, etc. And the prices to upgrade, for e.g. to 900p, is cheaper.

It doesn't matter. We have already been ripped off enough that a lower upgrade cost does not negate how much more expensive AW is here.

What we do have is an indefinite 15% discount for the time being if you're able to haggle at the AW concept store in Suntec. Let's see how much Dell charges for the m14x this coming IT fair.

Ha! Here the m14x is way more expensive.

For $1850 USD you get the m14x with: core i3 and all the stock config from the US ughh and yes you get bluetooth too. And you have to pay $30 USD for the red one lmao!.
How much for the config on my sig?
$2.8k USD lmao hahahha. Seriously they MUST check their prices here, THIS IS NOT FAIR!.

Expect little from dellSG on the upcoming IT fair next week. Probably the online price with a maximum of $200 off plus an alienware tee. That's about it. Why I know? Because I got my aurora on the last IT show and they never change their sales tactics.

Maybe the 15% off will extend up till then?
