Or maybe the Ivy Bridge? (or whatever it call), Can anyone here try it and tell the result? Because I dont want to update it yet as the A03 is doing fine, at the moment. Thanks

To Dell: Cant you be MORE specific?

I read somewhere about Dell trying to address the loud fan issue with a firmware update. Was hoping the Bios upgrade would address that. Guess not.

Wherever place you get from, is doesnt matter except for the command centre that is on the Disc: Do not use the Command Center from your Resource DVD!

But it is recommend to get from the website, since it would has the latest version of that particular driver.

"....Worse, the M14x's cooling fan kicked on frequently and was quite loud. While you probably won't hear this rig over gaming explosions, it was very noticeable in a quiet room. Alienware told us that they are aware of the issue and are looking to correct it via a firmware update...."

This paragraph is from this link > Alienware M14x Review

still waiting for that but the A03 Bios maintains cooler the m14x....!

For the nVidia Driver, u need a modded .inf file which can be found HERE

Select the right version you want to download and click on "Click here to download driver and INF files."

I flashed to bios 04 and it went smooth, settings OC, Memory etc. all stayed the same I had in bios 03, no added features that I could see, BUT the good news for me is that the fan kicks in once in 15 min now during some desktop work, plus defragment which I suddenly appreciate lol.
