I have killer wireless driver downloaded on thumb drive. I am having network issues with the m14x. Can someone briefly tell me how to uninstall the network driver so I can reinstall the killer wireless driver?

    Thx

Just download the latest drivers, switch OFF the virus scanner (on avast i chose permanent, as you dont want it turning on after reboot!) uninstall the bigfoot program, reboot, install the new one, reboot, turn on virus scanner.

Had to do it twice for the last 2 updates. its not a great bit of software when you're trying to upgrade!

I don't use an av. I did all if the above but I still get an error on boot up saying killer wireless network manager failed or something. Looks like everything else is working normal I just can't connect to my iPhone 4 hotspot anymore which is frustrating

Honestly, try generic Atheros drivers as you won't need the useless Network Manager. Don't remember who posted it but, the version is 9.20458 if I recall correctly, if you wish i'll upload them somewhere. I actually had mine 1103N replaced and then i just switched to Intel 6300N, no problems from there on (apart from router problems).

Just uninstall the BigFoot Networks driver, and download the latest on a USB stick and install from that.

Did anyone have any problems with the new driver? (6.1.0.219 Windows 7 64 bit). I uninstalled the old driver, installed the new one, everything's great. Next time I boot up my computer it says there's a problem with the driver and wont let me connect to my router. I had to system restore to roll it back. I tried it again a couple of days later and the same thing happened. Now I just left it on the old version.

Was your antivirus software turned off when you installed the driver? The Bigfoot Network software is very finicky if you try to install it while your AV software is running.

Actually it was on. Maybe I'll try it again soon with it off. I just cant be bothered right now having to do another system restore if it doesn't work again.
