Hey guys, so i got my m14x a few months ago and it's been fine. No problems. Runs skyrim and what ever else i throw at it like a boss. Well I'm in the USA (Indiana) and the temperatures have been pretty low and no heating problems. I am how ever heading to Sri Lanka (near india) for the summer to be with family and it gets pretty hot and humid over there near the equator. That being said I have been thinking about buying a cooling pad for my beast of a laptop to help it stay under control for marathon gaming sessions.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated! (price range = 30$ usd or below). Thanks guys and gals!

U2 Cooler Master will be your best bet for M14x. You can change its fans' location to locate just under the fan and other opening. The size is exactly same with M14x so no overkill.

Are the outlets even the same over there?
Or do they look like squiggly lines?

I got a Belkin CoolSpot Anywhere for mine. Its perfection. It draws from the bottom AND the back. The M14x couldnt fit any more perfectly and I have yet to have any issues gaming in the 3 weeks ive had it. Stays COOL. I thought about the U2Cooler Master a lot of people have gotten but theres too many parts for my taste. i like everything nice and neat and all in one when it comes to a cooling pad. Oh and the Belkin also has a stop in front to keep the laptop from sliding I dont think the other one does.

I don't even think you will need a cooling pad mate, just keep the rear elevated :)

Bought myself the U2. It's really nice. I haven't really tested it out by pushing my pc but I'll do that soon
