I find every time I update my drivers, if the game is not running in DX11, the performance on the game becomes significantly worse. I play a lot of non DX11 games, and ironically Crysis 2 runs better on DX11 heavy settings than on non-dx11 settings.

My question is, why? Makes no sense to me that DX11 which I assume is more hardware intensive, would run better than using normal dx9/10. I'm also curious if using the beta drivers might resolve this issue to some degree.

First thing first, have you whitelist the Game's .exe file into NVIDIA Control Panel (Guide can be found in my sig)? And if possible use the 295.73 instead because I find that version is the only stable one that doesnt drop fps or crash games for those who has a high OC setting like me.
