I thought this would help those looking for the latest NVIDIA Driver release Exclusively for Windows 8 CP. I install Win 8 on a VMWare student edition and also successfully installed this driver and seem to be does not interfere with my Windows 7's 295.73 though.

Installing the Nvidia driver on a VMWare installation of Windows doesn't affect it, does it? I'm pretty sure VMWare's accelerated graphics aren't connected to the physical GPU, so this would only be useful if Windows 8 was installed properly, not as a virtual machine.

By default it does not, but if you follow this guide: Which show you how to enable 3D accelerator in VMWare, and it is work properly.
