I have a question, has anyone else have had problems with their mouse track pad? My mouse pad just died like a day ago. The light doesnt even turn on either. So my question is this something i can fix myself, or something I gotta contact Dell about? could it be that some wire disconnected or just stopped working.

Try reinstall the Synaptics TouchPad Driver again and if it still acting the same thing then it mean that the T-pad is dead. For the AlienFX on the T-Pad is associate with the Command Centre you can also try reinstall the Command Centre too if you like. The other would be call Dell.
