Are you talking about vertical and horizontal scrolling?

you have to go into the synaptics settings to configure everything for the mouse.

Why does no one do this? I open everything click on settings everywhere, look through control panel for things that don't generally come with windows.

Any new machine I get, the first couple of days I spend just looking around, poking and prodding. I thought that was part of a new laptop.

I'll never understand why people get a new laptop, open up Facebook and go "Yep, it works" and never click on anything else.

Those people are such noobs. At least I check my email before I pronounce that the laptop works.
