Well, I was loving my m14x until my motherboard went bad (seven beeps upon boot). I was just getting into SWTOR as well. So I missed playing launch on it and am having to play on a MacBook Pro (GeForce 9400). I had quite a bit of trouble with Dell wanting me to send my PC to a facility (with a 10 day turnaround). I finally talked them into sending a guy out to swap out the motherboard. He should come tomorrow.
Was the motherboard going bad anything I did? I OC'd the GPU but that's all I did.
Are these Dell at home technicians good? Any advice?

My mobo defect after 2 months without any OC. My advise is dont OC. If not, you will be spoiling mechanism inside.
Home technician is good. So far no problem after they come on-site for my unit for 3 times. -
I OC my GPU but never get any problem with it, except for some random BIOS corrupt or BSOD saying the GT555M is missing but that's because I OC too high, when I lower it down to the acceptable range, I then never get any of those BSOD. So may I ask you what setting are you and what program you use to OC the GPU? And is there any sign say BSOD before the motherboard gone wrong?

I didn't see any signs of it going bad. I was playing SWTOR and got a purple screen ... then it turned off, tried to reboot and I got the seven beeps of death (lol).
As for how far I overclocked it not very far. I just set it in Afterburner to 750 / whatever it automatically sets it to (cannot remember but Afterburner automatically sets the second number). Then I set the third number to 1000. Sorry I'm new to this OC'ing. I read those numbers in a recommended post here on Notebook Review. -
This happened to mine after two weeks. Just got it back today... I barely even did anything on it.
Motherboard defect after three weeks... :-(
