WTH is this!?! I'm so mad

Now we are force to pay $1,400+ just to get the 900p option. I had a cart saved for $1,140 with 900p screen and I was about to order just now and they removed my wishlist and change the $999 option to get stuck with a 720p.

What in the world is going on here!

You are right, there is no option available to do this now on the website but there is always something we can do about it. Please send us an e-mail to [email protected] with your phone number and a brief description of the issue along with my name and I'll personally help you with that.

Why would they ever change this??? The 900p display is barely adequate for the brand rep, so the "768p" option is truly ghet-tooo.

May have been a marketing decision. We still offer the option though and the price lowered from 1099 to 999 if I'm not mistaken.

Any updates Luis? Btw what do you mean you guys still offer the option though? Are you talking about the 900p screen upgrade because i don't see it on the configuration.

I'm referring to the 900p configuration. It is still available but for a higher price, that's what I meant. We have not received the e-mail yet... :(

Wow that sucks. Have you tried calling and asking why? Maybe you could order through the phone and they could configure a 900p screen manually.

Not sure why this was cross-posted in the main Alienware forum and the M14x sub-forum. Merged duplicate to thread in the M14x forum where it belongs.

    Update!

Just checked alienware configuration page again and the 900p option is back again on the $999 configuration as an option.

Actually it was just a misconfiguration on my end. Fixed now and I'm taking care of the request.
