    Issue:
    • 8 Beeps after game crash
    Other Details:
    1. LCD won't light up
    2. If you unplug GPU ( GTX 675mx ), LCD lights up but still 8 beeps issue.
    3. The laptop was already crashing whenever a game is played (mostly League of Legends and it happens randomly).
    What I tried:
    1. Reseat all peripherals and also LCD connection.
    2. Boot without RAM, HDD, CMOS and their combinations.
    3. Boot into hardware test mode via holding down Function key after, before and during power button is pressed. (Unable to get to the hardware test.) Also tried D key and Function and D keys at the same time, unable to get to it.
    4. Bake GPU at 200°c for 10 minutes, still 8 beeps and LCD wont light up.
    5. Boot without GPU GTX 675mx, still 8 beeps but LCD lights up and stuck at black screen.
    6. I also tried number 3 without GTX 675mx but still unable to get to the hardware test screen.
    Need help :(
    • I'm willing to buy a second hand GPU if you guys think its the best option.
    • Also I cant bring it to a DELL Service Center, there doesnt seem to be one here in Philippines.:(

Sounds like either the LCD is dead or the motherboard.

Im basing this on since the GPU is unplugged you get the same behavior

Tends to be the motherboard more than the LCD, but without anything to test its hard to narrow down. My laptop has the same error code types it seems

Did you try to put an external display when turning on the laptop "kabayan". Might be the display problem.

*Also if u want, you can try to bring your laptop to gilmore pc center if you live in manila.*

I did, used an hdmi connector going to a tv, still nothing.

I'll try bringing it to gilmore. ( Will be in Manila around 21 to 25 this month. )

    Salamat! Thank you.

    Hi guys..

Managed to have it fixed by the support team here in Philippines.

It cost me around 200$ in total expenses.

It seems they "replaced" the lcd as per them.

Thank you all for the assistance.

I'm now trying to build a PC since my old E5300 and GT 630 keeps crashing on league of legends ranked games :( , waiting for new GPUs from amd to drop.

    Again, thank you guys.
