    M14xR1 loud fan on powersaving mode, unplugged!

    normally, the fan is quiet and doesnt make any noise with 0-5% CPU usage and 27% memory and 94 processes. suddenly sometimes, the cpu usage goes up to 20-30%, loudest fan ever, but with the same 94 processes and 27% memory. all of this when unplugged. whats going on?

    What version of BIOS are you running?
    What are you doing when the fan is on?

    Bios A08 would fix your cooling issue but you'll loose the SATA 6Gbit/s (but if you don't have any SSD sata III... no matter)
