Is the r2 with gt 650m good to go with the 3d monitor and glasses with the aw3d monitor or another brand of 3d monitor?

I want opinions from actual r2 users that tested it and not some random strangers giving out false or random opinions.

    Thanks

    I don't have a 3D monitor but I do have 55" 3D TV 120hz, I connected with HDMI/Display port and unable to run 3D vision , only run 1080p

Optimus does not allow for 3D it is the same with my M11x :( so if the R2 uses Optimus then it is a no go.

FYI, this isnt true. I successfully watched MegaMind 3D off my m14x R2 just now. I am now coming here to look at how optimus works, because for the most part, my wife will be using this laptop and she'll be more concerned about battery then the ability to game on it. But its also my backup gaming machine, when i dont want to lug the 18x r2 around. Speaking of that, I havent successfully gotten the 3d to work on that one though.. lol.. but I'm sure it will, its 680m sli.

But yes, fully confirmed that optimus does allow for 3D also.
