So right now i Have a single monitor attached to my m14x r1 via vga with the internal screen off. I was wondering if were possible to connect a second monitor or even a third. I was thinking of buying a VGA splitter and hooking up two VGA monitors or buying a HDMI splitter and using 2 HDMI monitors with the VGA montior.

Any one have any experience with this?
    Thanks.

I have an alienware m14x r1. When working on my bachelor thesis I tried to connect 3 full HD projectors on my laptop but I failed. However I did manage to connect 2 1080p (full hd) projectors on my laptop and it was working correctly. For that I connected one to the HDMI port and the other one to the mini-display port. I didn't use the vga port.

It will only support 2 with the current ports. Using a splitter could help.
