Are there more features to enables besides the graphics and power management to make the M14x run at high performance when it's unplugged?

It seems as though I can only get the ultimate performance out of my machine when it's plugged into the ac power adapter.

The GPU requires the extra wattage from AC power, you won't be able to run at full performance otherwise.

though its not possible ........since the bios A03 downclocks the GPU on battery to run at 201Mhz but if you can install A01 bios ....(am not sure if its possible) then this restriction would be removed...but the problem with that was ....that the cpu used to shutdown due to the excessive power drawn by the GPU ...so i read somewhere someone had successfully managed to downlock the GPU to 400Mhz on battery and was able to game on it without the system not shutting down(I think it was a guy called steve and i dint read on this forum)....so itzz gonna involve a lot of hardwork and testing to do this............IMHO...its not worth the effort and the issues u`ll face . Hope this answers your question
