Hey guys, sorry for the noob question but I know there are often compatibility issues with some hardware for the m14x. I currently have an i7-2630QM, GT 555m gpu and the base 4gb ram. I want to swap out the HD for an SSD and swap out the CD Drive with the HD as well as add 8gb of ram, unless anyone thinks I should get more? I use it mainly to code in Visual Studio and also will be playing Diablo 3 on it come the 15th. I am not very good with hardware, more of a software guy so I was hoping someone could suggest a good SSD that I can install Win 7 on, perhaps a partition with Linux installed as well, and a little left over for Diablo 3 as well, the rest I'll dump on the 750gb HD. Also, which kind of RAM should I get? Not looking to pay a ton either, I am a student and can't afford to drop 4-500 on all of this. Please let me know, thanks in advance for your help.

Just be cautious with OCZ - especially as a student.

They have the worst reliability in the SSD market. Just look at newegg customer reviews for example (about 30% failure; sample pool = several hundreds).

If you can, see if you can find another brand with similar price such as Kingston, Corsair, Crucial or Patriot.

Intel & Samsung are #1, however their prices are much higher than the rest of SSD's out there.
