I have ordered a vanilla M14x except that I upgraded the screen.
The M14x will replace my desktop.

Although the performance will be lower than my desktop I will gain the portability. Most importantly I will gain the option to stove away the computer when I do not use it.

As I am a computer addict I have my desktop in our living room so I can still be with the family. Pun, sorry. :D But that is how it is.

I chosed the M14x because the price of the M15 - M18 did not justify my intentions. Even though there is other laptops, ASUS, MSI amingst others. The design of Alienware justified the price of the M14x. So aestethics was something that weighed in quite alot, ofcourse I did not neglect performance. (Perhaps I could have gotten better performance from other manufacturers... but.)

Now I noticed that Dell, at least in Sweden, have made a M11x r1 packaged into a M11x r2 shell. For the r1 price... That is sweat. :)
I had a r2 that I returned last year and have been back and forth with ordering it but I never got to the point.

The M11x would have served the portability and stove away thing while I could still keep my desktop. (I could just move my desktop to a more discrete place and still be in our living room.)

Correct me if I am wrong, I lowered the score down to equal thousands. The 3Dmark06 score for M14x is 12000. On my desktop it is 14000.
And judging from youtube videos I won't be lacking in the performance with M14x... and, well.

    Buyers remorse perhaps.
Perhaps someone can persuade me into not having it. :)
