I contacted my dell partner team e today asking for part #'s for the LCD cable and LCD screen that the new R3 gets to use. I have always wanted an 1920x1080 screen for my little R1 that I have and have since upgraded the 1366 to the 1600x900.

My question is can the new FHD screens work with the older R2 and R1 laptops. If so what are the part #'s of the LCD screen cable (30 pin it's different than the 40 pin) and the LCD screen itself?

If you don't know the answer and you own an R3 that has the FHD screen may I know your service tag so that I can have my dell reps find the parts for me.
